This is not actually normal homework, but as I told you, I'll take the activity books and the notebooks and the end of next week, so remember to have them with everything made.
Remember that it is not only unit 2 of the activity book, but also the "learning about UK", "Reading more" and the grammar part of units 1 and 2.

- Copy the vocabulary of unit 2 (adverbs of frequency) and the one of the first page of unit 3 (the objects linked with new technologies)

- Finish page 27 and do page 28 of the activity book

Remember to ask your parents to sign you marks paper!

Hola, hacía tiempo que no escribía en el Blog

La mayoría terminasteis en clase pero aquí va lo que hay que tener hecho para el próximo día, por si acaso:

- Copiar el vocabulario de la unidad 2 (adverbios de frecuencia) y de la unidad 3 solo lo de la primera página (aparatos relacionados con las nuevas tecnologías)

- Terminar la página 27 del activity book y hacer también la página 28.

¡Recordad pedir a vuestros padres que firmen la hoja de notas!

Remember to do the worksheet at the weekend, and that you can remove the rest of photocopies of the plastic folder because I have already corrected them.
We will correct Friday's worksheet on Monday so don't forget that one!

Today we started unit 2, so you have to write the vocabulary of the first page (the jobs) on the vocabulary part of the notebook.

Remember I will take your notebooks, the plastic folder and your marks this Thursday, and the Activity books on Friday, so have everything prepared for those dates.

Hoy empezamos el tema 2, así que tenéis que copiar el vocabulario de la primera página (los trabajos) en la parte de vocabulario de la libreta.

Recordad que recogeré las libretas, el portafolio de plástico con las fotocopias y las notas firmadas el jueves, y el activity book lo recogeré el viernes, así que tened todo listo para esas fechas.

Ghost stories!

Here there are the stories we wrote in the classroom. Right now we have only studied the present continuous and to be, so they are more like descriptions than a story, due to most of books are usually written in past simple.

Remember that we use present continuous for describing pictures or talking about situations that are happening now (And well, some present continuous sentences with enough context can describe a future plan)

She is in the sofa, with a ghost. She is painting a ghost and loving the ghost. The ghost has a family. The family of the ghost have to leave, and she is leaving her dad, cat and dog.

They are playing with their friends. He's drawing Abraham Lincoln. They are with the parents of the girl. They are having a party with their cousins.

They are driving a green car. They are going to a house. She is reading a paper. The ghost is opening the envelope. The children and the ghosts are in a train. The children are going home.

She is killing a frog. The ghost is drawing the girl. He is going to the city by car. The ghost is looking for the girl and he is finding his friend. He is walking home and he is talking with her black friend.

Aquí tenéis las historias que escribimos en clase. Hasta ahora solo hemos visto el presente continuo y el to be en presente, por lo que parecen más descripciones que una historia, ya que las historias realmente suelen estar en pasado simple. 

Recordad que usamos el presente continuo para describir imágenes o hablar de acciones que están ocurriendo justo ahora (y bueno, también se puede usar para hablar de planes futuros si hay un contexto que así lo indique).

Hi again

As always I mentioned this in the classroom but I say it here too just in case. You don't actually have "homework" but there is a task that some of you have to take into account. We have already finish topic 1, so all Activity book exercises we did or correct in the classroom have to be done. 

Here there is a list of the pages you DON'T have to do, because it is easier than writing the ones that have to be done, which are several: Page 2, 3 (exercise 1), 4,  10 (exercise 4), 13, , 14 (exercise 4)

Remember that there are two other pages that we DID, at the end of the book. These pages are 91 and 92.

Additionally, have a neat and clean notebook, with all the exercises I asked before, and remember to write the vocabulary words of starter unit and unit 1

Hola de nuevo

Como siempre ya lo comenté en clase pero lo digo aquí también. No hay "deberes" para este puente pero hay una tarea que algunos tendréis que poner al día, y son los activity book, ya que ya terminamos el tema 1.

Aquí va una lista de las páginas que NO hay que hacer, ya que es más fácil que decir las que sí, puesto que son muchas: páginas 2, 3 (el ejercicio 1), 4, 10 (ejercicio 4), 13 y 14(ejercicio 4)

Recordad que hay unas páginas al final del libro que SÍ que hicimos, la 91 y 92. 

Además, tened la libreta curiosa con todos los ejercicios que he ido pidiendo, y recordad escribir el vocabulario en la parte final de la libreta, de la unidad 1 y la de inicio.

Hello again

A lot of you have finished most of these tasks, but I'm going to write a summary of all of them here, just in case you're missing something.

- Finish page 11 of the activity book
- Page 92 of the activity book
- Finish the worksheet I gave to you last Tuesday
- Write the Halloween text with a pen, taking into account the lines you made with your pencil. You can use a blue or a black pen for the text. Remember that everything looks better if it is coloured, so you can colour the pumpkins and the ghost of the page

Remember that we'll finally have the exam next Tuesday, so study a little bit this weekend!

Hola de nuevo

Muchos habéis terminado casi todo en clase, pero voy a escribir un resumen de todas las tareas que hay que tener hechas para el lunes por si acaso.

- Terminar la página 11 del activity book
- Página 92 del activity book
- Terminar la fotocopia con ejercicios que di el Martes
-  Escribir el texto de Halloween a bolígrafo, teniendo en cuenta lo que escribisteis a lápiz. Podéis usar para el texto bolígrafo negro o azul, y recordar que todo se ve más bonito si tiene color, por lo que podéis colorear los fantasmas y calabazas de la hoja.

¡Recordad que el examen queda para el martes, así que estudiad un poco este finde!

We're almost finished with the Halloween text, but in order to make it clean and tidy we need more steps. Now you have to write the corrected text on the paper I gave to you, but remember that everything you write or draw must be made by pencil.

Just in case, if you have lost the paper I gave to you (Hope this is not the case) do it on a normal white paper, with a pencil.

Casi hemos acabado con el texto de Halloween pero si queremos que esté limpio y ordenado faltan unos pasos más. Ahora hay que escribir el texto en el papel que os di, pero recordad que hay que hacerlo a lápiz todo, tanto dibujos como escritura.

Por si acaso. Si habéis perdido el papel decorado que os di (Espero que no) escribid el texto en un folio normal, a lápiz.

Maybe you finished it in the classroom, but remember you have to write the first draft about the Halloween essay. A quite detailed summary about what you want to write is enough, so you can finish it tomorrow and I can correct it.

Quizás acabasteis en clase, pero recordad que hay que terminar el primer borrador del texto de Halloween que hicimos en clase. Un resumen algo detallado sobre lo que queréis escribir es suficiente, para que mañana lo podáis terminar y yo os lo corrija.

We have many days until the next lesson, so this time we'll have more things to do:

• Copy the vocabulary words of Classbook page 6 on the notebook
• cut the grass, water the flowers, plant seeds, pick strawberries, feed the birds, eat a carrot, dig a hole
• Copy the vocabulary words of Classbook page 10 on the notebook (exercise 1)
• beautiful, interesting, colorful, useful, hard 

(Remember that you have to write these words at the end of the notebook and with their Spanish translation, for example:

Cut the grass --> Cortar el césped)

• Activity book page 91

• Study the starter unit and unit 1, because there will be an exam at the end of the next week!

Son varios días hasta la próxima clase, así que hay bastantes cosas que hacer:
