Good morning!

You have to do the writing of Activity Book page 70. Remember that in the exam you are going to do a very similar writing, so take into account the letter/email structure:
-Greeting (Hello! / Hi!)
- Introduction (How are you? I'm fine / How do you do?)
- Body (Where we write the main information)
- Farewell (See you! / Goodbye! / I will write you soon!)

The next Thursday (the 7th of June) You are going to have the unit 6 exam. Remember to study the vocabulary of this unit, as well as the future tense (will and going to) and past simple, due to there are going to be an exercise about choosing the most appropiate tense.
Take also into account the "there is /there are" structure.

- Cuerpo del mensaje (Donde escribimos la información principal)
- Despedida (¡Nos vemos / ¡Adios! / ¡Te escribiré pronto!)

El próximo jueves (7 de junio) tendréis el examen del tema 6. Acordaos de estudiar el vocabulario de la unidad, así como los tiempos futuros (will y going to) y el pasado simple, ya que habrá un ejercicio en el que tendréis que escoger la conjugación más adecuada.
Tened también en cuenta la estructura "hay (en singular y plural)".

This is just a note for telling you about Tuesday. Remember that I will take your notebooks this Tuesday (29) so I can correct them. If you didn't do one of the mini projects and showed them to me the last time I took notebooks, you can give them to me now, but take into account that your marks will be not as good as the other time, due to they are out of date.
These mini projects were:
- Recipe for a pizza (Notebook)
- Letter from London to a friend (It was a worksheet I gave to you, but if you don't have the worksheet you can write it on you notebook. You have to imagine that you are living in London and write about a normal day)
- Animal in extincition: Short text (Notebook)

Remember that when you give me the notebook you have to give me the plastic folder with the worksheets as well.

And just in case you haven't seen the previous entry, remember that tomorrow we will correct the worksheet I gave to you on Tuesday the 22nd

Ésta es solo una nota para recordaros lo del martes. Recogeré libretas este martes 29 para corregirlas. Si no hicisteis uno de los mini proyectos y por tanto no me los enseñasteis la última vez que recogí libretas podéis entregármelos ahora, pero tened en cuenta que vuestras notas no serán tan buenas por estar fuera de plazo.

We are now with the "invent a school" project, and here there is your homework for this Monday. You have to write on a paper the draft of your part of the project, so I can correct it on Monday. Remember that you have to write this on the posterboard, so don't write a complete page full of information that it is not necessary. Summarize the info. My last piece of advice is to not copy information from the Internet. I'm going to assess your English written expression, and I'll know if you haven't done it by yourself. Be honest and write something simple, but written by you. You can use the Internet for getting some ideas or certain expressions, but that's all.
If you have to look for some words in a dictionary, I recommend you this website: www.wordreference.com

Estamos ahora con el proyecto "inventa un colegio", y aquí os explico los deberes para el lunes. Teneis que escribir en un papel el borrador de vuestra parte del proyecto, para que yo la pueda corregir el lunes. Recordad que luego tendréis que pasar esta redacción a la cartulina, así que no escribais una hoja entera llena de información que no hace fala. Resumid. Mi última recomendación es que no copiéis de internet. Voy a evaluar vuestra expresión escrita, y sabré si no lo habeis hecho vosotros. Sed honestos y escribid algo simple, pero creado por vosotros. Podéis usar Internet para otener ideas o copiar expresiones concretas, pero eso es todo.

Because on Thursday and on Friday you have trips to some places, we won't have normal English lessons until Monday, so here there is the homework for next Monday:

- Read more! page 69 (Classbook) and page 82 (Activity book)

Remember that unit 5 exam will be the 26th of April. You have to specially review the present simple, irregular verbs, vocabulary and how to describe a picture, so review present continuous too.

Hello again

Here you have today's homework. Remember that you have to do this for tomorrow, but you have probably done everything.
- Finish the writing about the pizza you made in the classroom. Take into account that we made a plasticine pizza but you have to write sentences as it was a real pizza (I prepare the dough, I put the pizza in the oven...)
-Finish the exercises about the "explore the UK" - Traditional food. Remember that you have the text in the classbook and the exercises in the activity book.

You were doing a worksheet that you have to finish, and pay special attention to the writing on one of the sides. It doesn't need to be very long, just the kind of length a postcard has. Remember I will take notebooks (and worksheets) on Tuesday.
Here you have the text you have to take into account in order to do the writing:

Claire loves travelling. She arrived in London a couple of days ago. She is spending a week with some friends. They are staying in a hotel in the centre of the city. She enjoys art, musicals and the English pubs but she can't stand noisy places. She also wants to visit Oxford.

Imagine you are Claire. Write an email from London telling someone about your trip using the information above. Use the verb tenses we have learnt.

Remember that for this Monday you will have to do a writing on your notebook about an animal which is in danger. Choose an animal you like and write a long parragraph about it (about 210 words). You have some ideas here on the left.
You don't need to write about a place which keeps this animal, just a description about the animal is enough.

Think that this will be assessed by me as well, so do it in a neat way on your notebook. You can look for a picture or make a drawing of the animal.

Remember to study for the next exam, which it'll be on Tuesday. Today and yesterday we were practicing simple descriptions about sculptures, and a similar activity will appear on the exam, in which I'll give a picture and some information about the sculpture and you have to describe it with simple sentences. 

Here you have the example we did today in the classroom about a penguin sculpture:

It's very big

It's a realistic sculpture

I like/I don't like it because it's... 

Remember that you can use connectors to make the writing more interesting, like but, because, and, so...

As you see, you know enough vocabulary to speak about its size (big, small), material (stone, ice,  wood, plastic, clay), age (new, old), style (realistic, abstract) and tell you personal opinion (if you like it or not and why).

Recordad que habrá examen el martes, así que estudiad este finde. Hoy y ayer estuvimos practicando descripciones sencillas a partir de esculturas, y aparecerá una actividad sencilla en el examen, donde os daré una imagen y un poco de información y tendréis que redactar frases sencillas.

After this long weekend, we have to work again. Remember that you have to do an essay on your notebook for tomorrow. The essay is about what did you do at the weekend (Just one day, and you can invent).

Here you have an example that you can take into account in order to write yours. You can copy the words in black but you have to change the ones in green. You can crerate your own essay by yourselves, which I encourage you to do.

Yesterday I woke up at 9:30 am, and I had breakfast. I drank orange juice. In the morning I read a book, and I ate a sandwich for lunch. In the afternoon I studied German. At 9:00 pm I had dinner. I watched TV and I went to bed at 11:00pm.
